Andrew Hill - Eurocontrol

Andrew Hill has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from

Cambridge University, UK, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Imperial College, UK. He has worked for the past 27 years for several international organisations including NATO, the European Commission and EUROCONTROL.

At EUROCONTROL, he was project manager of the Initial Flight Plan Processing System (IFPS), operational in Brussels since 1995, and of the European Flight Data Processing (eFDP) project from 1997-2000. He was the author of the Flight Object Concept which was approved as a vision of the way forward by EUROCONTROL's Provisional Council in 2003.
