Jim Stenson served as an air traffic controller with the UK Royal Air Force and held all the senior ATC/ATM-specific appointments. During a secondment he was a deputy director within the UK Civil Aviation Authority where he held policy responsibility for unregulated airspace; surveillance and spectrum; environment; and UAVs amongst others. He has extensive experience of European ATM and was a member of Eurocontrol’s DMEAN Steering Committee.
He now represents the European Military ATM Directors Conference (EURAMID) within the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) Project; he is a member of the SESAR Executive Committee.
